    If you are a resident in Romania and are 18 years old or over, you can open an account online in less than 10 minutes. All you need to do is download the app, confirm your identity with your ID and choose the current account subscription that suits you.

    Each of us can make any operations through our own account. But, indeed, there are situations when you are not able to do it personally or you may want to have access to the account for someone close to you (spouse/partner/partner etc.) 😉 😉

    In these situations, you can grant your loved ones the right to perform various transactions on your account. To make this possible, please visit any BT branch, along with the person you want to grant access to your account. It’s important to bring your IDs with you! 💳

    If you are still unable to go to the bank in person, then you can go to the notary and make a power of attorney naming the person you are authorizing to apply for account operating rights on your behalf, the person for whom you are granting these rights and listing them. For example: to withdraw money, make transfers and payments, etc. 

    So you no longer have to come to the bank, instead, the person you have nominated in the power of attorney will come to make the application on your behalf, together with the person to whom you grant the operating rights, also with the identity documents. And if it's the same person, it's even simpler.

    Steps to enroll in Mastercard ID Check are as follows: 

    ❶⠀After selecting the product or service you wish to pay for, you will need to enter your card details when making the online payment: 

    ➤⠀card number; 

    ➤⠀expiration date;

    ➤⠀CVV2 / CVC2 code. 


    At merchants displaying the“Verified by Visa”and“MasterCard ID Check”logos, an additional page will appear asking you to enter a password. 👀
     

    ❷⠀The ID Check password has been replaced with a dynamic password (OTP—one-time password), which is different for every online transaction; you will receive this password via text message;

    ❸⠀Payment will be processed quickly after the password is verified.


    🆕 You can now confirm any online payment directly from your phone using your fingerprint or your phone's unlock method via BT Pay. This way, every online transaction will be secure. 🔥
