    How to contact BT if you're abroad

    No matter which country you live, work or study in, we're just a phone call, email, social media message or... chat away.

    Here's where you can find us or what online options you have at your fingertips to get the information you're looking for as quickly as possible:

    HUMAN BANKING

    • For the best experience, we recommend that you call us from the phone number you know is in our database (when you call us, we already know who you are 😊).
    • Here you can see live details about waiting times, the number of people on the line and how many customers are on the line.

    OPTIONS WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN DNA

    The BT Chat virtual assistant in the BT Pay/BT Pay Italia app: provides information about the app's functionalities as well as about the bank's products and services.

    • You have the option to continue chatting with a member of the bank's team.
    • In the app, Chat BT can be accessed from the top right.
    • It answers in Romanian and will soon also communicate in English, Hungarian and Italian.

    AI Search: Thanks to AI Search, you receive comprehensive information instantly.

    • The option can be accessed right here, on the website you're on or on the BT UK website.
    • With AI Search, the answers are in the language (whatever language it is) in which you type the question.

    Question BT: is a website that includes a category of information for diaspora, as well as over 2,000 questions and answers about banking, products and services, and how to proceed in certain situations.
